Before You Drive
Battery, kill switch & first charge
Step 1
Find the Battery
Lift the seat cushion in the correct row — 2 or 2+2 seat: Row 1. 4 or 4+2 seat: Row 2. 6 or 6+2 seat: Row 3.
Step 2
Red Kill Switch — Pull UP
Pull the red kill switch UP to turn it ON. Pulled down = OFF. This must be UP for the cart to operate or charge.
Step 3
Power Button — Blue Light
Press the silver power button on the side of the battery. Hold until it illuminates blue. Blue = ON.
First Use
Charge Fully First
Before your first drive, plug in and charge until the indicator shows solid green. Takes 5–8 hours from empty.

Starting the Cart
Key ignition or push start / NFC
Key Ignition
Insert & Turn
Insert the key and turn to the ON position. The screen will boot and show the Nexon startup logo.
Push Start / NFC
Fob + Button
Keep the NFC key fob within 1–2 feet of the cart, then press the start button. Screen will boot.
⚠ Important
Wait 2–3 Seconds
After powering on, wait 2–3 seconds before selecting a gear. After selecting a gear, wait another 2–3 seconds before pressing the accelerator. This is normal — not a malfunction.

Driving
Gears, speed & braking
D
Drive
Forward. Select, wait 2–3 sec, then accelerate.
N
Neutral
Parked. Electromagnetic brake holds the cart automatically.
R
Reverse
Reverse camera activates on screen automatically.
Speed
Max 25 MPH
Speed is fixed from the factory. Do not attempt to modify or tune the speed setting — doing so voids the warranty entirely.
Braking
Two Brake Systems
Brake pedal activates hydraulic brakes. Releasing the accelerator also engages electromagnetic regenerative braking automatically.
Load
Max 1,300 lbs.
Do not exceed the rated load capacity including passengers and cargo. Overloading stresses the motor and voids the warranty.

Charging
Plug in, indicator lights & best practices
Step 1
Battery Must Be ON
Silver button illuminated blue, red kill switch pulled UP. Cart will not charge if battery is switched off.
Step 2
Plug In
Connect the supplied smart charger to a standard 110V–240V outlet. Full charge takes 5–8 hours. Safe to leave overnight.
Blinking Red
Charging in progress — normal
Solid Green
Fully charged — safe to unplug
Blinking Red & Green
Battery switch is OFF — turn it on
No Light
Charger not connected or outlet issue

Parking & Shutdown
How to safely stop and secure the cart
Step 1
Come to a Full Stop
Bring the cart to a complete stop before switching gears or turning off.
Step 2
Select Neutral
Place the gear selector in N. The electromagnetic brake engages automatically and holds the cart on flat and moderate slopes.
Step 3
Turn Off & Remove Key
Turn the ignition off and remove the key or fob when leaving the cart unattended.
Best Practice
Plug In After Every Use
Charging after every use is the single best habit for long battery life. The charger stops automatically when full.

If Something's Wrong
5 most common issues — quick fixes
Cart won't power on
Check battery power switch (silver button, illuminated blue) and red kill switch pulled UP. Charge fully and retry.
Cart won't move after selecting gear
Wait 2–3 seconds after powering on and again after selecting D or R before pressing the accelerator. This is normal.
Charger not charging (red & green blinking)
Battery power switch is OFF. Press the silver button until it illuminates blue. Confirm red kill switch is pulled UP.
Battery switched itself off
Normal after several days without use. Press the silver power button on the battery to turn it back on before charging or driving.
Screen not turning on
Cycle the cart power off, wait 30 seconds, and restart. If screen remains dark after a full charge, contact Nexon EV.
